They have provided free champions (High quality ones) to players and streamers who throw fits in hopes to save them from leaving. They release rebranded areas already available in game and call it “new” only to really be branded as their next money grab. The Ugly: They have started to try and silence those who dare to speak out against the poor practices and companies inability to continue to provide a good experience to players. The gear meta that is actually meaningful is a fraction of what’s available to receive. The missions, challenges and quests are designed to halt you a points to get you to spend in game resources or money which is understandable from a business perspective - yet the way and how often this is done is questionable at best and predatory at worst. The rate at which they revisit champions to attempt rebalancing is as small as the drop rates from shards. The balancing for champions and how they perform, in PvP areas specifically, is horrendous and appalling. The shards themselves having their own abysmal drop rates from the incredibly limited areas to get them. The Bad: The number of champions that serve to be useful towards progression are limited, locked behind abysmal drop rates from shards you pull. The gear options are vast to try and create an idea of build (and champion) diversity. The surface level of missions, quests and challenges make you feel busy and working towards something. The layers of available champions (characters) to receive is deep. The graphics aren’t anime style and are well done to draw you in. The Good: This game, like most, start off shiny and promising. I know there’s a lot of these going around so I’m sorry to beat a dead horse. I’ve spent a small amount on the game but I’m nothing close to a whale. I’m set to move forward to bronze III once the 3x3 tag team sets and I’ve completed every dungeon with teams full auto. I’ve completed all missions (Arbiter) and find myself strongly held within middle to upper middle Gold IV classic arena. I decided to reflect on my time with the game and contribute my review to the App Store.
